How long have you been specializing in weddings?

Since we opened in 1946. It's an honor continuing this Portland wedding tradition. Many times the parents of our couples had their wedding invitations made in our shop. If you have stories, we'd love to hear them!

Do you design stationery?

Yes, of course! We do a lot of custom work and are currently showcasing three invitation suites that we created from scratch: a Hawaii getaway, romantic floras, and a contemporary design. Anders also has a wide selection of house designs available that can be customized to your event.

What if I have my own artwork?

We print customer supplied files and can set up finished pieces with provided artwork. 

What would you recommend if I have gold as one of my colors?

Gold works really well as an accent. While gold foil is the most popular solution and since there is a variety of gold paper/envelopes available, we can create custom pockets, bond paper to the back, and adhere paper layers.

How much do 100 invitations cost?

Our goal is to make sure that every couple is able create an invitation that is not only a preview for their big day but is also within their budget. Because of this, we custom quote all jobs to maintain flexibility and accuracy.

How long does the process take for invitations?

Invitations typically have the longest timeline. If we design, it's about 3 - 4 weeks. This includes a 1 week waiting period to receive your first proof during our busy season and a 5 week day production time for standard digital printing. Assembly, specialty cutting, etc. make extend that time line.

How do I place an order?

You are welcome to stop by anytime to look at samples but if you'd like to talk one-on-one, appointments are required. If you are not a local, phone or email works great for us. Simply call or email the shop to reserve your time slot - we look forward to chatting!

Once we have your details, we do require a 60% deposit and for you to agree to our terms and conditions. Any staff member can assist you with this.

Can I come by to look at samples?

We have lots of samples available in our shop that you are welcome to browse. Appointments are encouraged so that our samples are reserved for you and a designer can be available to guide you through all your options. Simply call or email the shop to reserve your time slot.

Will you mail our invitations?

Upon request we will stuff, stamp, address, and mail all your invitations for you. This applies to save the dates, rehearsal dinners, and all other pieces you would like sent out. 

What if I want to use an engagement photo?

Not a problem. Our save the dates and invitations can easily be customized to accommodate for this. We can even suggest a photographer.
