Make an impression

Letterpress is truly an artistic process with each piece fed by hand and inspected with care. These pieces have a timeless quality about them, perfect for the romantic sensibilities that come with wedding stationery. The paper used is thicker than standard digital paper and has a beautiful subtle texture due to it's cotton content. 

While looking through the pictures, you'll notice that the paper not only accepts the ink well, but the impact of the die creates a crisp impression in the paper, magnifying the imagery and the paper quality itself. We can even print without ink, simply leaving a solid impression in the paper similar to debossing.

Our letterpress has been in our shop since we opened in 1946! We use it daily form letterpressing to cutting out custom shapes - it s the heart of our store.
