Letterpress

Letterpress is truly an artistic process with each piece fed by hand and handled with care. These pieces have a timeless quality about them. The paper used can be much thicker than standard digital paper and has a beautiful subtle texture due to it's cotton content. 

While looking through the pictures above, you'll notice that the paper not only accepts the ink well but the impression of the die creates a crisp impression in the paper. This magnifies the imagery and the paper quality itself. We can even print without ink leaving a solid impression in the paper similar to debossing.

Our letterpress has been in our shop since we opened in 1946! We use it daily for letterpressing to cutting out custom shapes - it's the heart of our store.
